We are the Macphee family and welcome you to Banff
and the Moray Firth in North East Scotland. We would like to invite
you to spend some time at our home, Dunelm cottage, where you are
guaranteed 'good old Scottish Hospitality'.

Banff is an ideal touring base, as its only a stones
throw from numerous castles and whisky distilleries. Local stretches
of river offer unrivalled fishing while the Banff Links (the sandy
beach) offers relaxation while watching the dolphins close to the
shore. This is in addition to the dramatic coastline which is ideal
for cliff walks; cycling and country drives. Dunelm Cottage is fully
self-contained and for exclusive use by guests (we live next door).
It offers all the facilities you would expect in a family home - tv/video,
central heating, own lounge, kitchen and bathroom. It is an early
1900's cottage with modern facilities but with the charm of a bygone
age - many of the original features were retained when we renovated.

The garden is perfect for relaxing as it is sunny, south
facing, and secluded. Dunelm Cottage is only minutes walk from the shops,
cafes, galleries etc in the centre of Banff and only 15 minutes walk
(3 minutes drive) from Banff Links - beautiful golden sands. |
TASTY SCOTTISH BREAKFASTS
- Jay serves a tasty Scottish Breakfast using the best of local produce
- organic when available - and special diets can be catered for on
request.
SELF-CATERING - Dunelm Cottage
can also be booked in advance for self-catering - allowing complete
independence.
So if you are coming to Scotland this year, pay us
a visit on the Moray Firth where the climate is kinder and the hospitality
warmer. You won't be disappointed.
Please note that Dunelm Cottage is a NON-SMOKING
home.
Prices don't vary through-out the season.
